17-year-old arrested in fatal shooting of Bay Area teen

A 17-year-old boy who arrived at a local hospital Thursday night for treatment of a gunshot wound was arrested Friday in connected with the fatal shooting of another teen boy, Vacaville police advised Saturday.Neither party’s name was released at press time.What’s known is that, around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 100 block of Meadows Drive. A 16-year-old boy was found suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers provided medical aid and the teen was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.Later that night, the 17-year old gunshot victim arrived at a local hospital.
