Man Injured in Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash on Juniper Street [San Diego, CA] 47-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver near 29th StreetSAN DIEGO, CA (July 14, 2023) – Early Friday morning, a man died in a hit-and-run crash on Juniper Street.The incident occurred shortly before 2:00 a.m., on July 7th, on the 2900 block of Juniper Street.According to reports, the man was looking through trash cans when he was struck by a vehicle that was headed eastbound.Following impact, the suspect immediately drove away without rendering aid to the victim. A description of the vehicle or the suspect was not yet available this time.The first responder at the site of the accident transported the man to a local hospital for treatment.Further investigation into the hit-and-run crash on Juniper Street is still underway.
