WILTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Cannone's Deli, located at 654 Saratoga Road in Wilton, is under new ownership. After 39 years, outgoing owners John and Theresa Cannone are retiring. "We have served a lot of you and then your kids and now your grandchildren. After working seven days a week for 39 years we are retiring to spend time with our family."The Cannones moved from Long Island to the Capital Region to start the business. John Cannone gave NEWS10 a little backstory of the deli, which opened in 1984. The Cannones used to own the plaza where the deli sits, as well as the liquor store and pizzeria in that plaza. PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- On Thursday, the Pittsfield Police Department arrested Jarrel Hall for allegedly selling heroin. Police located Hall at his residence, where he reportedly had an Adidas string bag containing a .25 caliber Raven handgun next to him. Police say Hall also had approximately $4,900 in cash and located 290 bags of heroin with a street value of $1,500. The handgun had a loaded round in the chamber and five additional rounds in the magazine. Hall was arraigned in the Central Berkshire District Court on Friday. GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) - The Glens Falls Police Department is investigating a series of crimes by a group of juvenile offenders that took place last week. In a release posted this week, the department said that subjects responsible for the crimes had been identified. The crimes were not described in detail. "Currently, officers are in the process of making arrests in the incidents, but the court process with juveniles is much different from those involving adults," the department said. "Most juvenile cases are filed through Family Court, which changes the on-the-scene handling of incidents and situations. A military jet crashed near a San Diego base and a search-and-rescue operation was underway, the U.S. Marine Corps said in a statement early Friday.The F/A-18 went down at 11:54 p.m. Thursday in the vicinity of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, a base press release said.“The crash site is on government property east of the air station and there are no indications of damage to property on the ground,” the statement said. Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident near Southern AvenuePHOENIX, AZ (August 25, 2023) – Sunday evening, one man was killed and a woman was hurt in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on 39th Avenue.The incident occurred around 11:00 p.m., near Southern Avenue on August 13th.Per reports, the driver of a vehicle struck a man and a woman in the area, leaving them with life-threatening injuries.Upon impact, the involved driver fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting authorities.Paramedics arrived and transported the man and woman to a nearby hospital where the man later succumbed to his injuries. Motorcycle Crash in San Diego Left 26-Year-Old Man HospitalizedSAN DIEGO, CA (August 25, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, a motorcycle-suv collision on San Pasqual Road left a rider with serious injuries.Police responded to the crash around 1:55 p.m. at the 13900 block of San Pasqual Road.Based on the initial investigation, a northbound BMW S1000 motorcycle crossed over the southbound lanes. There, the rider collided head-on with a southbound Toyota RAV4 driven by a 46-year-old.
