PHILADELPHIA — Defensive end Nick Bosa’s toe injury, which surfaced on the 49ers’ injury report Friday, will not keep him out of today’s game against the host Eagles.Bosa’s toe got stepped on in practice, and he ran multiple sprints to test it out afterward, according to a team source. He showed no hindrance as he warmed up in his usual, Jordan-brand cleats. It is not a similar injury to what sidelined left guard Aaron Banks for two games last month, as Banks had sustained a hyperextended toe and was rushed back a game earlier than expected to participate in the Thanksgiving Night win at Seattle.Bosa, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, has a team-leading eight sacks and an NFL-leading 29 quarterback hits. He has five of the 49ers’ 15 sacks in the last three games — wins at Jacksonville, against Tampa Bay and at Seattle. This concludes your Toe-sa update.NEW RETURNERReturn specialist Ray-Ray McCloud (rib) will not suit up for the fi...Explosion at Catholic Mass in Philippines kills at least 4 and injures dozens

ROME (AP) — Jose Mourinho’s pre-match accusations aimed at the referee and Sassuolo’s standout winger Domenico Berardi created plenty of controversy — and will likely result in another suspension for the veteran Portuguese coach. There was no questioning Mourinho’s choices off the bench, though, as Roma earned its sixth win in its last eight Serie A matches on Sunday.Substitute Rasmus Kristensen earned a penalty that Paulo Dybala converted and then the Denmark right back scored to earn Roma a 2-1 comeback win at 10-man Sassuolo. On Saturday, Mourinho had labeled referee Matteo Marcenaro as unstable.“We had him three times as a fourth official and I don’t think he has the emotional stability for games of this level,” Mourinho said, prompting the Italian soccer federation to open a disciplinary case against the coach. And Mourinho wasn’t done.He then said Berardi “exaggerates fouls to draw yellow cards,” adding that “if he was my player I wouldn’t like that at all.”So perhaps it was no c...Steelers and Cardinals in weather delay at halftime as severe weather rolls through the area

KHAN YOUNIS, Gaza Strip (AP) — The Israeli military said Sunday that its ground offensive had expanded to every part of Gaza, and authorities ordered more evacuations in the crowded south as they vowed that operations there against Hamas would be “no less strength” than the earlier efforts in the north.Heavy bombardment followed the evacuation orders, and Palestinians in the Gaza Strip said they were running out of places to go in the sealed-off territory that borders Israel and Egypt. Many of its 2.3 million people are crammed into the south after Israel ordered civilians to leave the north in the early days of the war, which was sparked by the Oct. 7 Hamas-led attack in Israel that killed about 1,200 people, mostly civilians. The United Nations estimates that 1.8 million Gazans have been displaced.
