ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- It's been 30 years since the hit kids show the original "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" hit the airwaves, and now, a new Netflix special is currently streaming.On Saturday, September 2, Walter Emanuel Jones, who played Zack Taylor, the original Black Ranger, will be at Heroes Hideout in Colonie Center from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to meet with fans to sign autographs and take photos. ALTON, Ill. - High school football games on both sides of the Missouri River are under tight security after multiple fights inside schools earlier this week. In Alton, there are tight restrictions in place for the Redbirds' home opener.Cassie Corzine's son plays football and it's his first home game."I'm nervous about being at this game right now and for my son," Corzine said.Security surrounds the stadium, as additional Alton police officers and Madison County deputies are present. MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. -- The Pattonville High School football team returned to its home field Friday, following a chaotic end to last week’s contest. Students and families started running from the stands last week. Administrators said a group of students was asked to leave but started running. Police determined the rumors of gunfire were unfounded. School district officials did not take the chaos lightly. LOUIS -- A west St. Louis Resident has been fighting for three years to get the St. Louis Forestry Department to cut down a city owned tree in front of her house on Waterman Street.The City inspected the tree in 2020 said it was dead and would be taken down in six to nine months. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating after a University of Southern California graduate student was viciously attacked at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday. Surveillance video from the metro train station showed a suspect attacking Anna S. from behind and hitting her over the head while she was waiting for her train to arrive around 5 p.m. The impact of the punch knocked her out and she didn’t know what happened to her. “Something struck me in the head,” Anna said. “I blacked out. I wasn’t sure what happened, if it happened just to me or to everybody around me. Security video captured a thief escaping with a $1,000 bottle of liquor during a violent confrontation at a Calabasas liquor store.The theft took place on Thursday at Malibu Liquor and Wine on the 4900 block of Las Virgenes Road around 8:19 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.Video shows after a brief confrontation with the store owners near the entrance, the suspect grabs a trashcan to prop himself up to reach above a display shelf.The man quickly grabs a box containing an expensive liquor, worth about $1,000, according to the store owner, before running towards the exit.As the suspect tries exiting the shop, one of the shop owners attempts to stop him while grabbing him. Four people were arrested by Los Angeles Police Department officers after they allegedly stole $5000 worth of merchandise from a store and threatened employees that confronted them.It happened Friday around 10:20 a.m. at a WSS Shoe Store on the 1600 block of W. 7th Street in the Westlake neighborhood.According to LAPD officials, two men and two teen girls entered the store and filled up bags with thousands worth of merchandise and began heading for the exit.
