BONNE TERRE, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Corrections carried out its execution of a man convicted of killing two Randolph County jailers in 2000.Michael Tisius gunned down unarmed guards Jason Acton and Leon Egley while attempting to break Roy Vance out of jail. Tisius was joined by Vance's girlfriend, Tracie Bulington, during the crime. The jailbreak was unsuccessful after Tisius and Bulington failed to find the keys to unlock Vance's cell.Tisius and Bulington were arrested later that day in Wathena, Kansas.The execution was carried out at the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre, Missouri. Aurora police on Friday will release body camera footage showing an officer fatally shooting a 14-year-old boy suspected of participating in a robbery of a convenience store.Family members of the 14-year-old, Jor’Dell Richardson, and their lawyers watched the footage at Aurora police headquarters Tuesday, police officials and family representatives said.State law mandates that law enforcement agencies wait 72 hours after showing body camera footage to the family of someone killed by police before releasing it publicly. Two men have been arrested in connection with an October 2021 shooting that led to the death of 18-year-old Jesus Sanchez, officials with the Ontario Police Department announced on Tuesday. Sanchez was leaving a crowded Halloween party on Oct. 23, 2021, in the 700 block of East Bonnie Brae Court in Ontario when gunfire erupted. The 18-year-old bystander was caught in the crossfire and was pronounced dead at the scene. Four others were wounded and taken to the hospital. Police said the Halloween party had attracted an “unexpected number of guests,” most of whom were minors. No arrests were made at the time. Police Chase Near East Laurel Drive Ends in Two-Vehicle CollisionSALINAS, CA (June 6, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, police arrested Jesus Alberto Cervantes after a high-speed police chase resulted in a two-vehicle crash.The pursuit started around 3:45 a.m. near East Laurel Drive and Towt Street. SAN JOSE – A 37-year-old San Jose woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing over the weekend in San Jose, police said Tuesday.The stabbing was reported just before 4 a.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Shawn Drive, near John Muir Middle School, according to the San Jose Police Department.
