(KRON) -- All southbound lanes of State route 13 just south of Lincoln Avenue in Oakland are now open as of 1 a.m. Monday following an hour-long road closure in the wake of a fatal collision there late Sunday night. Thieves break in Hayward auto dealership, $100K worth of cars stolen The collision involving a pedestrian led authorities to shut down southbound State route 13 near Lincoln Avenue, a spokesperson for California Highway Patrol said just before midnight Sunday.CHP was notified of the collision at 10:46 p.m. on Sunday. (FOX40.COM) -- The California Democratic Convention in Sacramento was shut down early on Saturday after protests for a ceasefire in Gaza raised safety concerns. "Due to circumstances beyond our control and for the safety and security of our delegates and convention participants we are canceling tonight's caucus meetings, hospitality suites, and Votefest taking place at the convention center," said California Democratic Party Communications Director Shery Vang. (KRON) – A man barricaded himself in his home after brandishing his neighbor with a firearm, the Oakland Police Department announced Monday. Oakland police are investigating an altercation in the 300 block of Lester Avenue on Nov. 19 around 3:15 p.m. The OPD Communications Division was notified of an individual who brandished a firearm at a neighbor during a verbal dispute. Two Fremont men stabbed, suspect arrested for attempted murder Upon arrival, officers learned that the armed neighbor retreated into their residence after the incident. Officers responded to the armed neighbor's residence. According to police, officers made announcements for occupants to exit. Several occupants exited the residence.
