Bristol, NH woman arrested in connection with Jan. 6 US Capitol riot A New Hampshire woman was arrested Friday in connection with the Jan. 6 US Capitol riot, a spokesperson for the FBI’s Boston division announced. The FBI said Cindy Young of Bristol, New Hampshire was taken into custody without incident Friday morning Young is accused of participating in the riot, according to court documents. She is facing charges including:Entering and remaining in a restricted building or groundsDisorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or groundsDisorderly conduct in a restricted building or grounds Parading, demonstrating, or picketing in any of the Capitol BuildingsPhotos attached to a criminal complaint in the case show what appears to be young inside the Capitol with other rioters. To date, more than 1,000 people have been charged with federal crimes related to the Capitol riot.

Parents found dead inside East County home identified EL CAJON, Calif. — Two people who were found dead inside a home in unincorporated El Cajon Thursday have been identified by authorities. According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, the two deceased adults discovered at a residence in the 200 block of E. Bradley Avenue were 42-year-old Eric Orpinela and his wife 39-year-old Denise Helen Orpinela. They were parents to three children ages 9, 13 and 14. This is the most commonly used drug among adults arrested in San Diego Authorities say a minor called to report finding their parents dead around 9:45 p.m. Both victims appeared to have head trauma, but officials say it is not yet known how they died specifically. SDSO says an investigation into the matter is ongoing. As of Friday, there are no outstanding suspects and there is no threat to the community, according to authorities.
